Objectives The society has two main objectives To initiate and promote the documentation of the main body of work of the ViennaCircle and further contributions to the development of its scientific program in the areas of science and adult education To cultivate and apply logical empiricism , critical rationalism and linguistic analysis in the sense of a scientific philosophy, coordinated with general socio cultural developments. An important goal of this effort is the democratization of knowledge. It leads to science being understood as a process of enlightenment in contrast to irrationalism, dogmatism and fundamentalism in any social setting, but in cooperation with developments of research. On the top of the tower is the Rathausmann , one of the symbols of Vienna. Facing the Rathaus is a large park, the Rathauspark. The Rathaus also accommodates the historic Wiener Rathauskeller restaurant. The traditional restaurant consists of several baroque halls, offering small traditional Viennese delicacies to grand gala buffets.
