History The UofC Mini Baja Team was founded in 2002 at the Schulich School of Engineering , Mechanical Engineering Department. 2003 The Winning Team Car 81 competed in the Mid West endurance competition. 122 competed. The car placed 24th in the race, and 34th overall. Super Happy Magic Rainbow of Death Car 85 also competed in the Mid West Competition. The car placed 63rd in the race, 2nd in production cost, 3rd in originality, and 85th overall. 2004 Raging Herd of Dinosaurs on Fire Car 105 competed in the Mid West competition, where it did not qualify for the race, and placed 75th overall.
