The regiment was formed in the Royal Corps of Transport in 1967 with two transport squadrons. In the 1980s it was redesignated 152 Ulster Ambulance Regiment , and transferred into the Royal Logistics Corps in 1993 as 152 Ulster Ambulance Transport Regiment .
