Fischer planned public housing projects for the city of Munich beginning in 1893. He was the joint founder and first chairman of the Deutscher Werkbund German work federation, 1907 , as well as member of the German version of the Garden city movement . In 1909 Fischer accepted a position as professor for architecture at the Technical University of Munich . Biography Pallady was born in Ia i , but at a young age, his family moved to Dresden , where he studied engineering at the Dresden University of Technology between 1887 and 1889. At the same time, he studied art with Erwin Oehme , who, recognising his artistic intuition, suggested that he go to Paris . In Paris, Pallady worked in the studio of Jean Arman and enrolled in the Acad mie des beaux arts Academy of Fine Arts Acad mie des Beaux Arts . In 1892, he worked in the studio of Gustave Moreau , where he had as colleagues Henri Matisse , Georges Rouault , and Albert Marquet . In 1904, Pallady returned to Romania, where he held an exhibition at the Romanian Athenaeum . However, he maintained close connections with Paris, where he continued to hold many personal exhibitions, up until World War II . He also exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1924, 1940 and 1942. He died in Bucharest , and is buried in Bellu cemetery. Legacy The Theodor Pallady Museum in Bucharest, a branch of the National Museum of Art of Romania , has only six of Pallady s paintings it is housed in Bucharest s oldest private lodging. Philipsen has been considered an innovator of 19th century Danish art. He took Danish art into a new level of impressionism and Naturalism arts naturalism . He was influenced by French art, this influence beginning in his first time in Paris from 1874 1876. He was impressed by the painters Theodore Rousseau , Constant Troyon , and perhaps Jean Francois Millet . He made a close personal friendship with the French impressionist Paul Gauguin who was also an important source of inspiration for him. He traveled to many places in the world for inspiration including North Africa and Andalusia . His first impressionist principal work was Late Autumn Day in the J gersborg Deer Park which he painted in 1886. The painting is currently in Statens Museum for Kunst . He participated in the exhibition Nordic and French Impressionists. Another one of his more famous paintings is An Avenue in Kastrup, which he painted in 1892.
