The Focus was one of Kramer s first models manufactured and then imported from Japan . There were three superstrat styled models, all of which featured the popular Floyd Rose tremolo. The Focus 1000 sported a single slanted humbucker, similar to the Kramer Baretta . The 2000 sported two humbuckers, thus resembling a Kramer Striker. The 3000 sported a HSS configuration, like the Kramer Pacer . The other two guitars both sported two humbuckers and a Floyd Rose and were distinguished by body shape. The 4000 sported a Gibson Flying V shape, and was later changed to more closely resemble a Jackson Randy Rhoads or Kramer Vanguard. The 5000 model resembles the Kramer Voyager. There were also three basses in the line. The 77 featured a split pickup, while the 88 featured a full size humbucker. The 8000 has a Z shape, resembling the Kramer Condor bass, and features two split pickups. The Floyd Rose vibrato tailpiece on the guitars was later replaced with the Vintage tremolo seen more often on Fender Stratocaster s in the early 90 s after a lawsuit with Rose himself over royalties. Kramer declared bankruptcy in 1989 and was then purchased by Gibson . Unreferenced stub auto yes date December 2009 The Kramer Complex is a grouping of Kansas State University residence halls on the west side of the university s Manhattan campus. The complex features two residence halls, Goodnow Hall Goodnow and Marlatt Hall , as well as the Kramer Dining Center. The Kramer Dining Center was named in 1965 for the former Assistant Dean of Home Economics Martha M. Kramer, who held the position between 1945 and 1960. A convenience store, QuikCats, is located on the first floor of the Kramer Dining Center near the west entrance. Also contained within Kramer Dining Hall is the Academic Resource Center in Kramer or the ARCK which provides group tutoring for many beginner level course, classrooms, study rooms, and computer labs which are available to check out. The complex contains three GM Goodnow Marlatt student parking lots adjacent to the residence halls and dining center and numerous hourly parking meters for visitors. Image PKramer.jpg 300px right thumb Piet Kramer Pieter Lodewijk Kramer 1881 1961 was a Dutch architect, one of the most important architects of the Amsterdam School Expressionist architecture . Kramer collaborated with his friend Michel de Klerk in the architectural practice of Eduard Cuypers . In 1911 he collaborated in the design of the Scheepvaarthuis Shipping House , with Johan van der Mey and Michel de Klerk. Kramer also collaborated with de Klerk on the P.L. Takstraat Burgemeester Tellegenstraat complex. Its corner portion is very striking like the turrets De Klerk incorporated in his Hemburgstraat building, it is purely decorative and not functional. In total Kramer designed approximately four hundred bridges, of which around one hundred were for the Amsterdamse Bos park. For these bridges he also frequently designed the associated bridge houses, the ironwork and even the landscape plans. The sculptural work was generally done by Hildo Krop . Outside Amsterdam Kramer designed, amongst other works, The Bijenkorf department store in The Hague and three villas in Park Meerwijk in Bergen, North Holland Bergen .
