    The RAF Staff College at Bracknell was a Royal Air Force staff college active for most of the second half of the 20th century. Its role was the training of staff officer s in the administrative, staff and policy aspects of air force matters. Its motto was Visu et Nisu which is Latin for by vision and effort . History The Staff College at Bracknell was formed by transferring a major portion of the RAF Staff College, Bulstrode Park Staff College at Bulstrode Park to Bracknell in July 1945. The World War II headquarters building of the RAF Second Tactical Air Force Second Tactical Air Force became the home of the new Staff College. Air Vice Marshal Ronald Graham , the then Commandant at Bulstrode Park, became the first commandant at Bracknell. On 1 May 1946 the Staff College was placed under the control of RAF Home Command Reserve Command . Four years later, on 1 August 1950, that command was renamed RAF Home Command Home Command . It was subsequently transferred to RAF Training Command Training Command on 1 June 1968 and then transferred again to RAF Support Command on 13 June 1973. CPSC is a specialized agency of the Colombo Plan . History Responding to the need to improve the quality of technician education and training, the Member Governments of the Colombo Plan considered the recommendation of the Singapore Colloquium in May 1969 to establish a Regional Centre for Technician Teacher Training. Adopted during the 20th Consultative Committee Meeting in Canada in October 1969, the said recommendation was firmed up into a Feasibility Study which was conducted from March to June 1970. Results were presented during the 21st Consultative Committee Meeting, referred for Further Study and examined by a Working Party of experts in February 1971, October 1971 and February 1972, respectively. After a thorough scrutiny, it was finally approved during the 22nd Consultative Committee Meeting in November 1972. It was formerly the Singapore Command and Staff College SCSC but was named after Goh Keng Swee in 2011. The inaugural Command and Staff Course commenced in 1969 and the College was officially opened in February 1970 by the Prime Minister of Singapore , Lee Kuan Yew , at its birth place at Fort Canning . After relocating to Marina Hill in the seventies and Seletar Camp in the eighties, it finally moved into its present premises in SAFTI in 1995. The College conducts the Command and Staff Course CSC for career officers and the National Service Command and Staff Course NSCSC for selected reserve officers who have demonstrated potential for higher command and staff appointments in the SAF. Annually, a number of International Officers IO s from regional nations are invited to attend the 10.5 month long CSC.
