Moulana Cassim Mohammed Sema was born in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal Newcastle , a town in the province of KwaZulu Natal , South Africa . At the age of five, he commenced his education at Oswald s School in Newcastle. However, his education was terminated after the completion of standard six. His first Islamic tutor was Moulana Hafiz Shamsuddin, under whom he completed the recitation of the Qur an and studied Urdu . Thereafter, Moulana commenced the memorisation of the Qur an under Hafiz Aminuddin, under whom he completed seven paras . He then memorised two more paras under Moulana Ali Ahmad Ansari . The company was formed in 1991 and dissolved in November 1998 when BAe purchased SEMA s 50 share. BAeSEMA acquired Dowty Sema in 1992, another naval systems joint venture between Dowty Group and Sema. BAeSEMA s major competitor in the UK naval systems market was Marconi Electronic Systems GEC Marconi through its Ferranti Ferranti Naval Systems and Plessey Plessey Naval Systems businesses. On November 11, 1998 BAe acquired Sema s interest in the company for 77 million and merged it into British Aerospace Defence British Aerospace Defence Ltd .
