The Eyes of Texas is a secretsociety founded in 1975 at the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas . The Eyes of Texas gained notoriety after a large scandal broke during the 2009 student government election following the efforts to expose corruption at the university by Lance Kennedy and The Texas Revolution student movement . The purpose of the of the society is to unselfishly serve the University of Texas at Austin. Membership is made up of students, faculty, and staff at The University of Texas at Austin with proven leadership, exemplary character, zeal for life, and unselfish devotion to the University.
