They are ineligible in the other criteria for election as a Fellow of the RoyalSociety Fellow or Foreign Member of the RoyalSociety Foreign Member but have rendered signal service to the cause of science, or whose election would significantly benefit the Society by their great experience in other walks of life . The position of Honorary Fellow replaced that whereby Fellows could be elected under Statute 12. Royal Numismatic Society is a learned society and Charitable organization charity based in London , United Kingdom which promotes research into all branches of numismatics . Its lectures and publications deal with classical, Asian, medieval and modern coins, paper money, tokens and medals. It was founded in 1836 as the Numismatic Society of London and received the title of the Royal Numismatic Society from Edward VII of the United Kingdom Edward VII by Royal Charter in 1904. Its present patron is Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom HM Queen Elizabeth II . Members, called Fellows, are first nominated by an existing Fellow or by the Council, then elected by at least three quarters of the votes. The Royal Agricultural Society of England was established in the United Kingdom in 1838 with the motto Practice with Science . The RASE aim is to promote the scientific development of agriculture. The society received its Royal Charter from Victoria of the United Kingdom Queen Victoria in 1840. From its early days the society has held regular exhibitions around the country called the Royal Show .
