The Farnham Astronomical Society meets in the Willis Hall, Church Crookham on the second Tuesday of every month. The Society is an unofficial custodian of the Aldershot Observatory . Although this observatory is owned by the British Army, members of the Farnham Astronomical Society have been active in bringing this telescope back into use after some years of neglect with the help of the Army and the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers workshops .
