The existence of a fortification, in the form of a tower, is recorded here as early as 1069, but the present donjon dates from the 13th century, and this is the oldest extant part of the buildings. Major restorations and reconstructions took place in 1616 and between 1746 and 1749, and as of 2010 the buildings are again undergoing restoration. Besides the donjon, the castle contains extensive domestic ranges and numerous service and outbuildings. The whole complex is surrounded on two sides by moats. The castle also contains a private chapel, dedicated to Anthony of Padua Saint Anthony . Along with Doug Wright cricketer Doug Wright and Eric Hollies , Jenkins was a star of the last generation of English leg spinners before a more defensive mindset, followed by the advent of one day cricket, all but killed off home grown wrist spinners. Jenkins first played for Worcestershire as a teenager in 1938 and established himself as a regular member of the team almost immediately. He was carefully nursed in his first three seasons separated by six years with no county matches due to war but some of his performances already showed he was potentially a leg spinner of more than ordinary ability.     The Keating Building This historic building is located at 432 F Street, in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter , at the corner of 5th Avenue and F Street, San Diego, California . This building is listed as a historic building number 31 on the Gaslamp Quarter Historic Buildings registry. George J. Keating and his wife Fannie Keating lived in Kansas where Mr. Keating had one of the world s largest companies dealing in farm equipment, called Smith and Keating . Mr. and Mrs. Keating moved to San Diego in 1886. George J. Keating died in 1888. In 1890, Fannie Keating began construction of the Keating building as a tribute to her late husband, at a cost of 135,000. She employed the Reid Brothers as the architects to design this building, who are also best known as the architects of the famous Hotel Del Coronado . The construction of this five story, Romanesque Revival architecture Romanesque Revival style , office building was completed in 1891. At that time, this building was known to be as one of the most prestigious office buildings in San Diego. This building had all the modern conveniences of steam heat, a wire cage elevator, and spacious office spaces. The original Wire cage elevator was later removed. Some of the well known tenants of this building include Lawyers, Babcock, Paterbaugh and Luce Henry Lord Gay , founder of the American Institute of Architects T.J.
