The OlderPeron was a period of generally clement and balmy weather conditions that favored plant growth in the dendrochronology of the bristlecone pine , which extends back from the modern era to 6700 BCE, the single best year for the growth of the pine was 4850 BCE, early in the OlderPeron era. The OlderPeron was a transgression in the sense of Sea level rise marine transgression , a period of advancing global sea level. Warm temperatures forced a retreat in the glacier s and ice sheet s of the global cryosphere throughout the period, global sea levels were 2.5 to 4 meters 8 to 13 feet higher than the twentieth century average. The higher sea level lasted for several centuries and eroded coastlines. Several locations around the world have OlderPeron terraces along their coasts as a result. The period derives its name from Cape Peron in Western Australia , where a terrace from the relevant era is prominent and was a focus of climatological study. The OlderPeron transgression was one of a series of gradually diminishing marine transgressions during the middle Holocene. It was followed by the Younger Peron, Abrolhos, and Rottnest transgressions. Charles Herman Chuck Older 29 September 1917&ndash 17 June 2006 was a member of the American Volunteer Group The Flying Tigers and one of its Flying ace Aces . In his distinguished military career, he served in both World War II and the Korean War . Older shot down 18 enemy planes and was the third highest scoring Flying Tiger ace. He earned a degree in political science UCLA before the war and later graduated from USC law school. After a distinguished legal career, he was appointed to the bench of the Los Angeles Superior Court by Governor Ronald Reagan in 1967. He served for twenty years before retiring. His most famous case was the Charles Manson murder trial. The trial lasted ten months and at that time was the longest in American history. Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi praised Older for his firm but fair handling of the difficult case. At one point, Manson tried to attack the judge and had to be restrained by bailiff s. It was released in 1989, a year after the EP, I81B4U . It was the last full album of new material to emerge from the band until 1997 s EP, Back & Gacked , but was followed by a live album, Can t LIVE Without It in 1990. After the album was released, bass player Joe Gittleman was sacked and replaced by Dirty Rotten Imbeciles D.R.I. s Josh Pappe in time to tour. It was the first time the band had recorded outside of their Boston, Massachusetts hometown as well. Rhode Island was the new setting, with Tom Soares replacing Daniel Rey at the mixing and production table. Overview A change of scenery, to Rhode Island saw a marked change in sound for the band, although it had the same members as had performed previously. Songwriting was no longer a solo effort on the part of Doherty with a few token collaborations. Nearly every track was written in partnership with another member even Joe Gittleman was the sole writer of two tracks this may be contributing to his urge to form a new band which he was free to do after this release. The lyrics changed from fun, beer drinking, womanizing anthems to more socio political themes except Bedroom of Doom which reverted to form, albeit momentarily. Physical description Peron s Tree Frog is one of the most varied coloured frogs in Australia, with the ability to change colour in less than one hour. It varies in shades of grey and brown, where its lightest is almost white. The frog has mottled yellow and black thighs, armpits and groin. Occasionally emerald spots are found on the back, which increase in number with age. A characteristic uncommon in the Litoria genus, is pupils which appear cross shaped. This characteristic is only shared with Tyler s Tree Frog within the Litoria genus. The male Peron tree frog is approximately 44 53 mm while Females are 46 65 mm.
