His children included Veronica Ruiz de Velasco , an important Mexican neo figurative artist. The Ruiz de Velasco family were the original owners for 114 years of the Acta de Independencia del Imperio Mexicano de 1821 . This document was passed down through generations. On August 22, 1987, Pedro Ruiz de Velasco gave the document as a gift to Mexico . Jose Francisco Ruiz Massieu accepted this gift and secured this historical document in the Museo Historico de Acapulco Fuerte de San Diego in Acapulco in the State of Guerrero . The show also aired in several countries in Central America , including Nicaragua , Guatemala , El Salvador , Honduras and Costa Rica . This program was the result of identifying the need to create consumer awareness among the Latin American markets by encouraging people to collect and mail the labels of products manufactured by Nestl . Consumers were made aware that Nestl not only manufactured traditional maggi soups, but also a new kind of homemade soup caceras , Nesquik cocoa flavor for milk, Nido milk, etc. The show was produced by Endemol creators of Big Brother TV series Big Brother partnered with Corporacion MEDCOM , the largest television network company in Central America . It was hosted by South American animator Nelson Bustamante and featured 24 contestants four from each Central American country including Panama , each receiving a sealed aluminum suitcase with a logo of a Nestl product. In the first round the contestants are asked random questions that are answered electronically. The contestant that earns the most points will be allowed to choose a suitcase to open in the second round. Over the course of the game the contestant will choose to eliminate all suitcases except the one chosen at the beginning of the show, though the suitcase may be traded once for a different remaining suitcase. At the game s conclusion the contestant receives a cheque prize equivalent to the amount printed inside the last suitcase to be opened. The prizes ranged from US 0.01 to US 125,000. The show drew a large audience throughout Central America, and was filmed on Saturdays and aired post edition, three weeks later on a Sunday. He chaired the institution from 1998 to 1999 and was a member of its Board of Directors in several opportunities. He was a member of INVAP Board of Directors from 1987 to 1989. From 1974 to 1979, he was director of the Scientific Secretariat of the United Nations Scientific Committee for the Study of the Effects of Atomic Radiation UNSCEAR . He was for many years a member of the International Commission on Radiation Protection ICRP which he chaired from 1985 to 1993. The fermentation process of creating tocosh was discovered by the Inca Incas or possibly one of the many tribes in their empire . A pool of water with a current is found or dug on the banks of a stream. The potatoes or corn are then placed in a mesh bag of grass, covered with stones, and left undisturbed for six to twelve months. The current flows through the stones to wash away bacteria during fermentation. Once fermentation has occurred, the tocosh is dried in the sun and stored for future use.
