It is located at the Crystal Airport Minnesota Crystal Airport in Crystal, Minnesota . As of February 1, 2010, the squadron has 45 cadets and 50 seniors. The squadron has won the Minnesota Wing Colorguard Competition for its third year in a row, and it also has a phenomenal drill team who took first place at the Wing Competition on November 13, 2010. The squadron is prominent in the wing and several Wing dignitaries have emerged from it. Their tagline is that they were The First Composite Squadron in the Nation Since 1942 .
