People Helping People is a late night broadcast on CFRB Toronto that deals with drug addiction and other forms of Substance dependence addiction . It is hosted by Mark Elliot radio host Mark Elliot who is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic himself, on Saturday nights between 11 00 p.m. and 2 00 a.m. The program began as a nightly four hour broadcast on CKLW in Windsor, Ontario Windsor in 1995, later moving to the CHUM Radio in 1996 1997 for a national run on stations in Halifax Urban Area Halifax CJCH AM CJCH , Montreal CKGM , Winnipeg CFRW , Vancouver CFUN and Victoria, British Columbia Victoria CFAX . The show also aired in syndication on Telemedia s CIGM in Greater Sudbury Sudbury and CKAT CFCH in North Bay, Ontario North Bay , although both dropped the show earlier than the CHUM stations did. About PMPS The name of the company originated from one of Wong s best selling albums released in 1997 under the same name. PMPS was born rather artistically oriented, despite majority of the giant music production companies in Hong Kong are heavily commercial oriented. All founding members of PMPS have extensive experience in the creative or music industry prior founding the company, including producers, singers, songwriters, sound engineers, musicians, etc. Although being an independent production company, PMPS does from time to time handle the production of albums for top of the line singers such as Leslie Cheung , Faye Wong , Eason Chan , Andy Hui and Miriam Yeung . Their services mainly focus on song writing, lyric writing, musical arrangement, producing, sound engineering etc. Furthermore, PMPS also participates in movie scoring, theatre anddance music production.
