HowardStableford born 12 April 1959 is a television and radio presenter. Howard grew up in Preston, Lancashire , the son of a business skills lecturer and a shipping agent. He attended Hutton Grammar School . His time at Durham University reading for a Geography degree also included playing rugby and acting in student theatre. BBC Radio Lancashire gave Howard his first break into broadcasting, followed by BBC Radio Northampton and BBC Children s TV. Stableford, but more recent ones have dropped the middle initial and appeared under the name Brian Stableford.
