    lunar crater data latitude 36.5 N or S S longitude 99.7 E or W E diameter 48 km depth Unknown colong 261 eponym Hugo Gernsback Gernsback is a Moon lunar Impact crater crater on the Far side Moon far side of the Moon . It is located in the northeastern part of the uneven Mare Australe , just behind the southeastern limb. During periods of favorable libration this feature can be brought into view of the Earth , but it is seen from the side and not much detail can be observed. It is located about a crater diameter north of the larger crater Lamb crater Lamb , and southwest of Parkhurst crater Parkhurst . The interior of this crater has been flooded by lava , leaving a level surface with a low albedo that matches the dark appearance of the lunar mare region to the south and west. The surviving rim is a slender, circular feature with some erosion along the southeastern edge. A small crater lies across the southern rim.     DNA Publications was an American publishing company which existed from 1993 to 2007 and was run by the husband and wife team of Warren Lapine and Angela Kessler , who met at science fiction convention in Virginia. Although initially founded in Massachusetts by Lapine, the company later relocated to Radford, Virginia . C6. ref Its first publication, in 1993, was the magazine Harsh Mistress , which Lapine produced in collaboration with Kevin Rogers and Tim Ballon. Specialising in both books and magazines, DNA Publication is most known for either distributing or publishing the following magazines Aboriginal SF , Absolute Magnitude magazine Absolute Magnitude , Artemis magazine Artemis , Dreams of Decadence , Fantastic Stories magazine Fantastic Stories , Mythic Delirium , The Official KISS Magazine , Science Fiction Chronicle , and The Whole Cat Journal and for the following book imprints Spyre Books , and Wilder Publications . For their work on the magazines, DNA Publications was a 2000 World Fantasy Award nominee, in the special award professional category, and then Absolute Magnitude was a 2002 Hugo Award nominee in the semiprozine category. Prominent authors published by the DNA Publications magazines include Chris Bunch , Hal Clement , Harlan Ellison , Alan Dean Foster , and Allen Steele . DNA Publications collapsed in early 2007.
