Reinsch s record still stands as of the 2010 season the East German Martina Hellmann had in fact thrown 76.92 meters and 78.14 meters, both on September 6, 1988 but these came in an unofficial event and could not be counted as the world record. Reinsch began competing at the age of 14 and tried at first the high jump and shot put , even placing second in the shot put at the 1981 junior European championships. While studying mechanical engineering at Bologna University , Tredozi began working for Minardi as an assistant race engineer. Between 1988 and 1996, he engineered for Pierluigi Martini , Adri n Campos , Christian Fittipaldi , Fabrizio Barbazza and Pedro Lamy . In 1997, following the departure of Aldo Costa to Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari , he was appointed as the team s technical coordinator. Responsible for both the design and production areas as well as for on track technical management, he stayed in that role under technical director Gustav Brunner . When Brunner moved to Toyota F1 Toyota in 2001, Tredozi became technical director, where he controlled the day to day operation of the drawing office as well as the technical staff. When Minardi was bought and turned into Scuderia Toro Rosso , he stayed on until he was replaced by Alex Hitzinger in mid 2006. Married to Claudia, he has one son, Tommaso. He was cousin to Guglielmo Pepe Guglielmo and Florestano Pepe . Born in Civitacampomarano current Molise , he entered the Neapolitan Army at an early age. In the events of the Neapolitan Republic, he was captured by royalist troops led by Fabrizio Ruffo and exiled to France . Here he fought for the Napoleonic armies both under Joseph Bonaparte and Joachim Murat . He took part in the Neapolitan Revolution of 1820, and was again sent to exile, this time to Florence .
