Into White is a song written and recorded by Cat Stevens . It was released on his 1970 album Tea for the Tillerman and was covered in 1971, in Italian language Italian , by Mia Martini with the title Nel rosa Into Pink , from the album Oltre la collina Over the hill and in 2007 by Carly Simon . Many feel the song is a description of transcendence. The first verse has an organically built house the body. The second verse is a celebration of all that is outside the sky, and beautiful and peaceful flora and fauna. The third verse is of conflict and impending violence drawn against the innocent. The last verse takes us back to the organic body but omits this line, Tables of paper wood, windows of light . These are the parts of the body ... of an Emptying into White . The lyrics are as follows I built my house from barley rice, Green pepper walls and water ice. Tables of paper wood, windows of light, And everything emptying into white. A simple ... sleep well at night, With everything emptying into white. A sad blue eyed drummer rehearses outside, A black spider dancing on top of his eye. About the London gentlemen s club the BBC television comedy series Whites TV series White s is a London gentlemen s club , established at 4 Chesterfield Street in 1693 by Italian immigrant Francesco Bianco AKA Francis White . Originally it was established to sell hot chocolate , a rare and expensive commodity at the time and the source of its original title of Mrs. White s Chocolate House . These chocolate houses were seen as hotbeds of dissent by Charles II of England Charles II , but many converted into fashionable and respectable gentlemen s clubs like White s. As a side business, tickets were sold there to the productions at Her Majesty s Theatre King s Theatre and Royal Theatre Royal, Drury Lane Drury Lane Theatre . In 1778 it moved to numbers 37 38 St James s Street , on the east side of the street. From 1783 it was the unofficial headquarters of the Tory party, The Whigs Brooks s club was just down the road. A few apolitical and affable gentlemen managed to belong to both. The new architecture featured a bow window on the ground floor. In the later 18th century, the table directly in front of it became a seat of privilege, the throne of the most socially influential men in the club. This belonged to the arbiter elegantiarum , Beau Brummell , until he removed to the Continent in 1816, when William Arden, 2nd Baron Alvanley Lord Alvanley took the place of honour. It was here that Alvanley bet with a friend 3,000 as to which of two raindrops would first reach the bottom of a pane of the bow window. Standard Films was started in 1991 and is a snowboard film company started by brothers Mike and Dave Hatchett. As of 2009 they have produced a snowboarding film every year. The company was started when one of the two brothers as a professional snowboarder was in a serious snowboarding accident in a particularly treacherous chute, breaking his femur . The injury caused him to lose 2 5  cm from his right leg and brought his professional snowboarding career to an end. The brothers chose to make films to continue the professional snow sports lifestyle. Standard Films are generally shot on 16 mm film . Due to the cumbersome nature of the filming equipment, this is uncommon amongst snowboarding films, which are not usually marketed for cinematic quality. The films are well regarded for their long history and their emphasis on snowboarding, rather than on the peripheral snow sports activities, and high quality filming and post production. Standard Films feature the top riders of the day paired with the best filmers, pushing the limits of possibilities in professionalism.
