A bankteller is an employee of a bank who deals directly with most customers. In some places, this employee is known as a cashier. Most bankteller jobs require a high school diploma and include training on the job. Tellers are considered a front line in the banking business. This is because they are the first people that a customer sees at the bank and are also the people most likely to detect and stop fraudulent transactions in order to prevent losses at a bank counterfeit currency and checks, identity theft , confidence trick s, etc. . The position also requires tellers to be friendly and interact with the customers, providing them with information about customers accounts and bank services. Teller Ammons December 3, 1895, Denver, Colorado January 16, 1972, Denver was the List of Governors of Colorado 28th Governor of Colorado Governor of Colorado from 1937 to 1939. Ammons was the son of Colorado Governor Elias M. Ammons , and was named for his father s friend, U.S. Senator Henry Moore Teller . He served in the United States Army in France during World War I , and then returned to Colorado to work on a ranch and in a newspaper office. He earned a law degree from the University of Denver s Westminster Law School in 1929. Ammons was elected to the Colorado Senate in 1930 and served until 1935, when Denver Mayor Benjamin F. Stapleton appointed him as Denver city attorney. He was elected governor in 1936. After one two year term, he was defeated for reelection in 1938 by Ralph L. Carr . Orphan date February 2009 Leopold Teller April 3, 1844, Budapest 1908 was a Hungary Hungarian actor. For a time he studied medicine at the University of Vienna , but in 1862 he went to Ljubljana , where he joined a theatrical company. During the following ten years he played at small theaters in Jihlava , Klagenfurt , Opava , Budapest, Leipzig , and Liebenstein and from 1874 to 1890 he was a member of the Meininger , and appeared in such roles as Shylock, Iago , Gessler , Franz Moor , and Marinelli . On leaving the Meininger he secured an engagement at the Stadttheater in Hamburg , where his principal roles were Graf Trast , Doctor Crusius , and Graf Menges . In 1899 he retired from the stage, and settled as teacher of elocution in Hamburg. He has written a play entitled Wintersonnenwende , which has met with considerable success.
