Apostolic Expeditors in full, in Latin Expeditionarius literarum apostolicarum, Datariae Apostolicae sollicitator atque expeditor in Italian simply Spedizionieri are Roman Curia l officials who attend to the sending of Papal Bull s, Papal Brief s and Papal Rescript s emanating from the Apostolic Chancery , the Dataria , the Sacred Paenitentiaria and the Secretariate of Briefs . History In a restricted and specific sense expeditors or expeditioners are laymen approved by the Dataria, after an examination, to act as agents for bishops or others before the Dataria or Apostolic Chancery. They are members of the Roman Court. They differ from solicitor s as well as from wikt procurator procurator s or agents in general, who transact business with the Roman Congregations . A solicitor, strictly speaking, is an assistant to a procurator, doing the mechanical work of preparing documents. An expeditor is more concerned with matters of favour, privileges, Dispensation Catholic Church dispensation s and so on, than with cases in litigation. It has been the practice of the Dataria and Apostolic Chancery to carry on business only with authorized agents or expeditors, whose office it is to draw up and sign the necessary documents, receive and forward the answer given. They receive a certain fixed fee for each transaction, while procurators and solicitors generally receive a monthly stipend. The number of expeditors has varied. Cardinal Pacca, pro datarius , decided in 1833 that the number, which was then one hundred, should be regulated by the amount of business to be transacted. Circa 1900 there were about thirty. An apostolic school is a missionary college of the Roman Catholic Church , having for its object to cultivate vocations for foreign missions. History Apostolic schools, as distinct from junior ecclesiastical seminaries, owed their origin to Father Alberic de Foresta , S.J. b. 1818 d. 1876 . He formed the design of opening a school where youths who gave promise of an ecclesiastical vocation, and who were disposed to go and labour on foreign missions, might be properly trained. The Apostolic Intervention were a United Kingdom British rock music rock band in the mid 1960s, who are best known for their 1967 single music single Tell Me Have You Ever Seen Me . The band originally formed in Hertfordshire in Late 1965 as The Little People , and comprised Angus Shirley lead guitar , Dino Dines Peter Dino Dines organ, vocals , Bob Argent bass , and Angus younger brother Jerry Shirley drums . They began by playing cover version covers of United States American R&B records, and emulated the music of their heroes, The Small Faces . After they supported the latter band on a local bill, Steve Marriott became their mentor, and persuaded Andrew Loog Oldham of Immediate Records to sign them in early 1967. Marriott wanted them to change their name to The Nice, but Oldham insisted on them using the name The Apostolic Intervention, giving the name The Nice to another band instead. Marriott offered the band a song that he and Ronnie Lane had written, Tell Me Have You Ever Seen Me , producing their single and playing bass guitar bass on the record in preference to Bob Argent. The record failed to make the charts, and the song was soon recorded by The Small Faces themselves on their album Small Faces 1967 album Small Faces issued in the US in a different form as There are But Four Small Faces . Further attempts at recording The Apostolic Intervention were unsuccessful, and the band split up before the end of 1967. Dines and Jerry Shirley joined Tim Renwick in a band known variously as Little Women and the Wages of Sin. Dines later joined the Keef Hartley Band and T.
