He specialized in scenes from the medieval history of Moscow . Vasnetsov was a painter and a graphic artist. He did not receive a formal artistic education. He studied under his older brother Viktor Vasnetsov , the famous Russian painter. From 1883, he and his brother lived and worked in Abramtsevo where he fell under the influence of Vasily Polenov . In 1898 1899, he traveled across Europe. In addition to epic landscapes of Russian nature, Apollinary Vasnetsov created his own genre of historical landscape reconstruction on the basis of historical and archaeological data. His paintings present a visual picture of medieval Moscow. The painting represents Ivan returning home after capturing the Firebird, which he keeps in a cage. Ivan is riding the flying carpet in the early morning mist. This work was Vasnetsov s first attempt at illustrating Russian folk tales and inaugurated a famous series of paintings on the themes drawn from Russian folklore . The name comes from the color of its defensive wall, which was erected in 1585 1593 at the behest of tsar Feodor I and Boris Godunov by architect Fyodor Kon. Biography Konstantin was born in Moscow to a merchant family officially registered as peasants of Vladimir gubernia . His father, Aleksey Mikhailovich Korovin, earned a university degree and was more interested in arts and music than in the family business established by Konstantin s grandfather. Konstantin s older brother Sergey Korovin was a notable Realism visual arts realist painter. Konstantin s relative Illarion Pryanishnikov was also a prominent painter of the time and a teacher at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture . In 1875 Korovin entered the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he learned from Vasily Perov and Alexei Savrasov . His brother Sergey was already a student of the School. During their scholar years the Korovins became friends with their fellow students Valentin Serov and Isaac Levitan Konstantin kept these friendships through the whole of his life. In 1881 1882, Korovin spent a year at the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg , but returned disappointed to the Moscow School of Painting, sculpturing and architecture. He studied at the school under the new teacher Vasily Polenov until 1886. In 1885, Korovin traveled to Paris and Spain.     Rimsky Korsakov operas Onesource date June 2008 Sadko lang ru , the name of the main character is an opera in seven scenes by Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov . The libretto was written by the composer, with assistance from Vladimir Belsky , Vladimir Stasov , and others. Rimsky Korsakov was first inspired by the bylina of Sadko in 1867, when he completed a symphonic poem tone poem on the subject, his Opus number Op. 5. After finishing his second revision of this work in 1892, he decided to turn it into a dramatic work. The opera was completed in 1896.
