    Maria Anna Victoria of Savoy 11 September 1683 &ndash 11 October 1763 was the daughter of Louis Thomas, Count of Soissons Prince Louis Thomas of Savoy , Count of Soissons , and Uranie de La Cropte de Beauvais. Biography Her uncle was the imperial general Prince Eugene of Savoy . She was styled Mademoiselle de Soissons prior to her marriage. Upon Eugene s death, Maria Anna Victoria inherited his estate in Austria , of which she then proceeded to quickly sell off at cut rate prices. His mansions, art collections, wartime medals, and the sword given to him by Queen Anne of England for his part in the War of the Spanish Succession were sold nothing was spared. She was married for a short time to the Austrian Imperial Quartermaster, Prince Joseph of Saxe Hildburghausen , but it ended in divorce. The couple married on 17 April 1738 and 1757 they divorced having had no children. She then lived for a time in France , and eventually died in Turin , Italy , in 1763 at the age of 80.
