Format Topics on the show focused on everything related to the American lifestyle, along with celebrity interviews. Cancellation America struggled with poor ratings from the outset, resulting in co host Damon s departure after only a few weeks. When the CBS owned and operated stations dropped the show, many more stations followed suit, prompting Paramount to finally cancel America in mid season.
