Vexi

The Vexi project is an international effort to create an easy-to-use platform for the development and delivery of internet applications.

Origins

The original XWT project brought together most of the current Vexi developers. XWT evolved into the Ibex project. Original estimates for a stable release of Ibex were incredibly optimistic and when Adam Megacz announced that Ibex would not be stable in the foreseeable future, most of the contributors agreed to fork the project and form Vexi.

The initial goal of Vexi was to create a stable version of the XWT/Ibex technologies. Now this has been achieved, the focus is on integrating the improvements made in the old codebase with the new technologies from Ibex.
