The largest of the Ugric people are Hungarians numbering 14,800,000. They also have their independent state - Hungary. Between 1952 and 1968 the Székely Hungarians living in Romania had their autonomous region known as the Hungarian Autonomous Province, but this entity no longer exists. Khanty and Mansi people live in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Russia(Yugra).
