Professor Susan Cooper is Professor of Experimental Physics at Oxford University since 1995, and a Professorial Fellow of St Catherine's College, Oxford. She is currently Deputy Head of Particle Physics and Associate Chairman of Physics at Oxford.

In 2005 she was elected as a member of the University's governing Council.
