Sheng Kung Hui Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School

S.K.H. Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School (LWMSS, Traditional Chinese: ?????????) is an anglican secondary school located at Kwai Shing Circuit, Kwai Chung, the New Territories, Hong Kong. The school was founded in 1970 by Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (Anglican Church in Hong Kong) and was named after Mr. Lam Woo for his generous donations and enthusiasm about promoting education. It is one of the parish schools of Crown of Thorns' Church. The school motto is "the truth will make you free", which is a quote from the bible (St. John 8:32). The mission of the school is to "provide students with an all-round education aimed at excellence in spiritual, virtual, intellectual, physical, inter-personal and aesthetic development".

The school is notable for its academic achievements as evident in students' public examination results. In the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination 2007, each student scored 5.1 distinctions and credits on average, which is above average among secondary schools in Hong Kong. In 2008, the school announced its first student getting 10As in the HKCEE since the foundation of school.

The School Hymn
by J. Baptiste Calkin& Sebastian W. Meyer
(c.1916)

We build our school on Thee, O Lord
To Thee we bring our common need.
The loving heart, the helpful word,
The tender thought, the kindly deed,
With these we pray Thy spirit may
Enrich and bless our school alway. We work together in Thy sight,
We live together in Thy love,
Guide Thou our faltering steps aright,
And lift our thoughts to heaven above,
Dear Lord, we pray Thy spirit may,
Be present in our school alway. Hold Thou each hand, to keep it just,
Touch Thou our lips, and make them pure,
If Thou art with us, Lord, we must
Be faithful friends and comrades sure
Dear Lord, we pray Thy spirit may
Be present in our school alway. We change, but Thou art still the same,
The same good master, teacher, friend,
We change, but Lord, we bear Thy name,
To journey with it to the end,
And so we pray Thy spirit may
Be present in our school alway.
