Roslavl () is a town in Smolensk Oblast, Russia. It is a road and rail junction and a market town. Population:
The town was founded in 1137 by the Smolensk prince Rostislav Mstislavitch, hence the name. Roslavl was chartered under Lithuanian rule in 1408 and ceded to Russia in 1667. Among the natives of Roslavl were sculptors Mikhail Mikeshin and Sergey Konenkov, as well as some ancestors of Fyodor Tyutchev hail from Roslavl.
