The agency services 55,213 people within 13.0 square miles of the municipality of Rockville, Maryland[4].
Organization
The current chief of police is T.N. Treschuk. The RCPD is divided into three bureaus[5]:
- Field Operations Bureau
- Special Operations Bureau
- Administrative Services Bureau
Falling under the Office of the Chief, the RCPD also has the following sections[5]:
