Redmap
Redmap is a software development company founded in 1998. Redmap manufactures software and systems for enterprise content management, electronic document management, and email archiving. It is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia and there are offices in North America, and Asia.
HistoryRedmap began in 1998, founded by Earl Woolley, Peter Ramensky, Afshin Baktashi and Kurt Carlsen. It started by making document imaging and document management software for the financial services and transport industries in Australia. The focus was initially about providing solutions to small and medium enterprise market. In 2003 Redmap expanded it's offering and launched ManagePoint, a secure, collaborative enterprise content management system. It also entered the email archiving market when it launched CaptureMail. Redmap has 3 times won the Queensland exporter of the year award [1] in 2003, 2004 and 2005 for it's international sales of ManagePoint. Redmap also won the Austrade Australian Exporter of the Year award ( ICT Section) in 2004[2]. Over the last few years Redmap has also licensed some of it's document processing technology in the form of the http://www.rerite.com.au/Toshiba_Main.htm Re-Rite product, produced for http://www.eid.toshiba.com.au Toshiba EID which is shipped worldwide with their multi-function printers.
