The Rangi are an ethnic and linguistic group based in the Dodoma Region of central Tanzania. In 1999 the Rangi population was estimated to number 350,000 http://www.ethnologue.com/show_language.asp?code=lag.

The Rangi call their language Kilaangi, though it is more commonly known as Rangi or Kirangi.
