Proti, Florina
Proti () is a small village in the Florina Prefecture of Macedonia, northern Greece, located approximately 5 kilometres from the city of Florina, to which it belongs administratively. At one time a flourishing community of 500 people whose primary occupation was wheat and tobacco farming, Proti today is a hamlet of more than 200 people who live self-sufficiently. Their lives consist mainly of farming. The hamlet falls within the municipal jurisdiction of Florina. There is a number of public buildings in the hamlet. The school house, though unused, is in good working order. The local church is in pristine condition, beautifully and impeccably maintained. In the rear of the church is the graveyard - with many stones that are centuries old. <gallery> Image:Proti1.jpg|The Village Of Proti, Greece Image:ProtiCemetary1.jpg|The cemetery in Proti, Greece Image:ProtiChurch1.jpg|The church in Proti, Greece Image:ProtiSchoolHouse1.jpg|The schoolhouse in Proti, Greece </gallery> Proti was ravaged during the Second World War.
