The Peach Belt Conference (also known as the PBC) is an intercollegiate college athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA?s Division II. The PBC was formed in 1990 with seven charter universities as the Peach Belt Athletic Conference, and took its current name in 2000.

The University of Montevallo has announced its intent to transfer to the PBC from the Gulf South Conference for the 2009-2010 season.[1] Flagler College has also applied and it appears they will also be in the league by the 2009-2010 season. [2]
