Louise Palanker is a writer, producer and performer in radio, television, stage and stand-up comedy. As Senior VP of Creative and co-founder of Premiere Radio Networks, she wrote, produced and performed in over 20 programs for the network.
In March of 2005, Palanker made headlines while testifying in the Michael Jackson Trial as a witness for the prosecution. The prosecution called Palanker to testify about a call she received from the accuser's mother, and to rebut defense suggestions that the family tried to dupe celebrities, including Palanker, George Lopez and Jay Leno, into giving them money. Despite Palanker's testimony pop superstar Jackson was found not guilty on all charges.
For approximately two years, Palanker co-hosted a weekly podcast with comedian Laura Swisher titled Weezy and the Swish, but due to the latter's increasing lack of involvement that show ended its run in July 2007 and a new show was established called Talk It Over Radio with Diane Dimond and Lee Jay.[1] Palanker also performs stand-up comedy in and around Los Angeles. She's also made appearances on G4'sAttack of the Show in a comedy segment called Brendan Moran's Book Club.
