Left Front Tire

Left Front Tire (LFT) was a pop punk band from Cornelia, Georgia, USA that was formed in the early 1990s and ended in 2005.

Discography

Their first EP was DIY in 1996. Four years later LFT recorded and released their first full length album Social Icon on Gladiator Family Records. The popular track, "Bring You Down" was featured on the American Pie 2 soundtrack. The cover of Hank Jr's "A Country Boy Can Survive" was a more notable track from the album.

On their 2003 follow up effort to Social Icon, 42 Ways to Lose a Friend, LFT continued with their catchy, high-energy pop punk. With the single "Cheaters", and even a country themed song, "For What It Means to You", featuring a steel guitar solo. 42 Ways to Lose a Friend was engineered at Zone Studios in Atlanta by local producer and mixer Billy Hume.

However shortly after signing with Red Eye Records, LFT decided to call it quits. They played their final show at the 40-watt club in Athens, Georgia, in the fall of 2005.

Members

Note: Brent Dobbs left the band in between albums. He was replaced by Justin Holcomb.
