The Lafitte Projects are one of the Housing Projects of New Orleans and are located in the 6th Ward. They are one of downtown New Orleans' oldest housing developments.

It is slated by a HUD decree to be demolished. Providence Community Housing, a leading non-profit in the area, is slated to restore the Lafitte Projects into affordable, mixed-income housing, building homes for every demolished unit.
