John Beatty (born May 6, 1961) is an American illustrator born in Whitesburg, Kentucky who has worked for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, most notably inking penciller Mike Zeck on a long run of Captain America in the early 1980s.

Some of Beatty's other notable works include illustrating Beyonder and inking Marvel Secret Wars, the new Ninja Turtles comics, and Kelley Jones' art for numerous Batman stories written by Doug Moench.
