Jobs Peak is in Alpine County, California. It is the most prominent peak visible from the Carson Valley in Douglas County, Nevada. This peak is great for hiking, and backcountry skiing. The peak has views of Lake Tahoe, and Carson Valley. There is a new private subdivision at the base of the peak in Carson Valley which has displaced the trail head down to Foothill Road, making it a much longer hike in from the Carson Valley side.
