George J. Annas is the Edward R. Utley Professor of Health Law, Bioethics & Human Rights, Chairman of Department of Health Law, Bioethics & Human Rights, at the Boston University School of Public Health. He holds a degree in economics from Harvard College and law from Harvard Law School and an M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a widely published national expert in the field of health law, bioethics, and human rights, whose books include The Rights of Patients, "Judging Medicine," Some Choice: Law, Medicine and the Market, and "American Bioethics: Crossing Human Rights and Health Law Boundaries."[1]
