Endicott, Washington
Endicott is a town in Whitman County, Washington, United States. The population was 621 at the 2000 census.

GeographyEndicott is located at (46.928761, -117.686030). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.8 kmē), all of it land. DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 621 people, 140 households, and 99 families residing in the town. The population density was 2,150.8 people per square mile (826.8/kmē). There were 166 housing units at an average density of 574.9/sq mi (221.0/kmē). The racial makeup of the town was 84.70% White, 1.93% African American, 0.32% Native American, 8.05% Asian, 2.58% from other races, and 2.42% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.31% of the population. There were 140 households out of which 38.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.1% were married couples living together, 15.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% were non-families. 27.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 3.05. In the town the population was spread out with 18.4% under the age of 18, 39.0% from 18 to 24, 23.0% from 25 to 44, 10.0% from 45 to 64, and 9.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 23 years. For every 100 females there were 105.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 115.7 males. The median income for a household in the town was $28,594, and the median income for a family was $35,500. Males had a median income of $31,000 versus $45,083 for females. The per capita income for the town was $9,571. About 14.6% of families and 20.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 31.7% of those under age 18 and 10.1% of those age 65 or over.
