Eddie Kaye Thomas
Eddie Kaye Thomas (born October 31, 1980) is an American film, television, and stage actor who rose to prominence in 1999 as Paul Finch in American Pie, a film that spawned two sequels and three direct-to-video spin-offs. Thomas starred in the sitcom 'Til Death, until Fall 2008, when his character was removed from the show for budget purposes. However, Thomas's character returned in the 5th episode (aired Wednesday, October 8th, 2008)without any explanation as to his absence in the first four episodes.
Thomas was born in New York City. His acting career began when he won his first stage role at age seven. Thomas has appeared onstage in productions of Four Baboons Adoring the Sun in 1992 and The Diary of Anne Frank in 1997. He graduated from New York's Professional Children's High School as a veteran of the Broadway stage. Thomas made his onscreen debut in an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? in 1994, in an episode titled The Tale of the Curious Camera about a possessed camera that destroys everything it shoots. Next came Law & Order in 1996 (he has appeared on the show three times) and landed a role in an independent movie called Illtown. Later, he would be featured in the film The Rage: Carrie 2 along with James Toback's controversial motion picture Black and White in which Thomas co-starred with Robert Downey, Jr. and Jared Leto.
Since American Pie, Eddie has starred in the series Off Centre (cancelled in 2002) with John Cho; played the title role in Canadian shock-comic Tom Green's Freddy Got Fingered; and continues stage work. He has appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "No More Bets". He is currently (as of April 2006) appearing off-Broadway. He appeared again with John Cho as a stereotypical Jewish character Rosenberg in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) opposite David Krumholtz.
Thomas appeared in commercials for Snickers and Nike and in 311's music video for "Flowing". He starred as Peter Van Dann in the Broadway Revival of The Diary of Anne Frank opposite Natalie Portman.
