The Durham and Southern Railway ran from Dunn to Durham, North Carolina, USA. It ran from 1906 to 1979 when it became part of the CSX system. It was originally chartered as the Cape Fear and Northern Railway by Holly Springs resident George Benton Alford in 1892.[1]
