Doug Ardito

Douglas John Ardito (born March 10, 1971) [(in concord massachusetts]), is the bassist/guitarist for Puddle of Mudd and has been since 1998.

Ardito co-wrote the song "Blurry", off Puddle of Mudd's album Come Clean. "Blurry" reached #5 on the Hot 100 chart. A few tracks off the newest album Famous were co-written by him as well. Such as the album's title track: "Famous", "Merry Go Round", "Radiate", and "If I Could Love You" . Also "Change Your Mind" off the second album "Life On Display". "Blurry" won 2 Billboard awards in 2002 for Best Rock Single and Best Modern Rock single. It also won ASCAP's coveted "song of the year" (most performed song of the year) award in 2003. Guitar One magazine voted Ardito's guitar part in "Blurry" as one of the "top ten riffs of the decade". Ardito is endorsed by Warwick basses, but also plays Fender as of 2007.
