D4L

D4L is an American rap group. They are composed of Fabo, Mook-B, Stoney and Shawty Lo.

They are best known for their "Laffy Taffy," which reached number-one in the U.S. in 2006. Group members Fabo and Stoney (Stuntman) are currently working on their solo debuts, scheduled to be released Spring 2008.

Shawty Lo recently released the album Units in the City. The first single was "Dey Know" which gained play on BET's Rap City. The album features guest appearances by Gucci Mane, DJ Khaled, Jim Jones, Birdman, D.G. Yola, and the rest of D4L. Production was by Born Immaculate, DJ Pooh, DJ Montay and Balis Beats.

Stuntman, while working on his Spring 2008 solo release and crafting his Label, Stuntman records -featuring such artists as Lil' ZaZa, 6-4, Lil' Mark, Choppa Fam and various others, he has also released two mixtapes with producer DJ Scream. The first, I Need Mine received much critical acclaim while introducing Stuntman records to the world. Stuntman came back recently with his sophomore effort 2610: A Cold Summer.

Fabo is working on his solo release DA GIK or GIK Music (GIK = Give Instead of Kill) while working with many other artists in the rap game, adding his patented scream to tracks.

D4L Member Mook B's whereabouts are unknown, he is not working on a publicized solo release and has only been seen featured on several mixtapes in tracks feat. D4L

On the DJ Scream Mixtape I Need Mine, D4L member, Stuntman says that "it is going to be another D4L album." adding more momentum to member's claims that D4L will be releasing Still Down. On Stuntman and DJ Scream's latest mixtape 2610: A Cold Summer Stuntman goes on to say that although "-Mook doin' his thing, Lo doin' his thing, Stuntman doin' his thing-" "D4L still does exist" Much controversy has been stirred over the fact that when referencing Shawty LO, Mook B and himself he does not mention D4L founder and frontman Lefabian Williams - Fabo. This adds emphasis to the perceived rift between Fabo and other D4L members.
