
Cyrano (opera)
Cyrano is an opera in three acts by David DiChiera (orchestration: Mark Flint) to a libretto in French by Bernard Uzan, based on the play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. The opera premiered on 13 October 2007 at the Michigan Opera Theatre. It was then given on 8 February 2008 at the Opera Company of Philadelphia, on 26 April 2008 at the Florida Grand Opera in 2009, both co-producers of the work, and on 15 May 2008 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.[1]
