Cybercamps

Cybercamps is a national summer computer camp geared towards boys and girls ages 7-18. The Cybercamps program was initially offered at the University of Washington in 1997 and offered courses on topics such as game design, web design, 3D graphics and Adobe Flash. As of 2007, Cybercamps is offered at more than 60 university and college campus locations throughout the US. [1] The Cybercamps curriculum features courses in computer game design, 3D modeling, programming, web design, robotics, video, special effects and sound engineering. Campers use some of the same tools used by industry professionals. Campers learn at their own pace, and the camp claims a camper to staff ratio of 1:5.
