California Southern Law School
California Southern Law School is a part-time evening law school, in Riverside, California. It was founded in 1971 by Judge Elwood M. Rich. The California State Bar Committee of Bar Examiners/Office of Admissions (CBE) authorizes California Southern Law School to operate and grant the Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Graduates of the school may take the California General Bar Examination. Upon passing the Bar, they are authorized to practice law in California.
California Southern Law School is not accredited by the American Bar Association or CBE. As an "unaccredited" law school, its first-year students must take and pass the "Baby Bar" or First-Year Law Students' Examination offered by the Committee of Bar Examiners. Upon successful passing of the "Baby Bar" those students may continue with their law studies.
