California Proposition 69 (2004)
California Proposition 69 was a successful 2004 California ballot proposition that allows for the collection of DNA samples from all felons and from people who have been arrested for certain crimes.[1] In 2009, all adults arrested for or charged with any felony will be included in the database.[1]
California currently maintains the third largest DNA database in the world.
