"Baby Baby Baby" is a neo soul song written by English singer-songwriter Joss Stone, Danny P, and Jonathan Shorten for Stone's third studio album, Introducing Joss Stone (2007). It was released as the album's third single, as confirmed by her official website on 4 October 2007. The track was made available for download on 23 December 2007 on iTunes and other online stores on 30 December 2007, and received a physical release on 14 January 2008.[1] It is unknown whether there will be a music video filmed for the single. Stone performed the song at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 18 October 2007, in aid of The Prince's Trust, as well as at the Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas on 14 September 2007. Stone said of the song:
Critical receptionIndieLondon.co.uk gave the song a four-star rating, calling it "[a] welcome return for Joss Stone to the type of retro-heavy territory that first made her standout on the Soul Sessions LP."[2] Digital Spy's Nick Levine rated the song three stars, deeming it "a lithe, sparky old-school soul workout on which Stone proclaims her love for the man her 'heart demaaands'", but also stating that "[h]er terrific voice never has anything very interesting to say."[3] Chart performance"Baby Baby Baby" started charting during late 2007 and early 2008 on small airplay-based charts in European countries such as Luxembourg (number thirty-eight), Turkey (number thirty-one), and Macedonia (number nine). The only major chart the single has charted on so far is the UK R&B Singles Chart, where it debuted and peaked at number eight. Track listings
